What is Ultrasonic Cavitation?

Ultrasonic Cavitation is a non-invasive fat reduction treatment that uses ultrasound technology to reduce fat cells in targeted parts of the body.

No downtime required with sessions lasting 30 to 45 minutes.

How does it work?

An ultrasound device similar to that used in pregnancy scans is applied to the targeted area, along with a specially designed cream. This device transmits concentrated levels of ultrasonic energy that target and destroy subcutaneous (under skin) fat cells in the fat cell membrane. This process heats and vibrates the layer of fat cells below the skin’s surface.  The fat is then dispersed as fatty acids  into surrounding cells and recycled into proteins and glycerol.

The ultrasound fat cavitation treatment works by eliminating fat and toxins via the lymphatic and urinary systems. The body requires three days to properly eliminate the fat and toxins after a treatment.

How many sessions?

2cm to 5cm reduction in circumference reduction can be seen after 5 to 6 sessions.  We recommend 9 to 12 sessions in total.

Target Areas?

  • Abdomen, Love handles, Bra Line
  • Upper Arm
  • Thighs, Buttocks
  • Any area with stubborn pockets of fat
  • Helps with loosing centimetres
  • Toning, Double Chin
  • Reduces Cellulite and tightens skin

Drink Fluids!

Drink at least 1.5 L of water before the treatment and 2L a day for at least 3 days after the treatment.  Avoid alcohol for at least 48 hours.

Exercise!

A 10 to 20 minutes of elevated heart rate cardio exercise is required post-treatment. This is best to be done immediately after the treatment, and for three days following. This is to ensure the stored energy released by the cavitation process is burnt off.

Diet before and after treatment?

Maintaining a low calorie, low carbohydrate, low fat, and low sugar diet for 24 hours pre-treatment and three days post-treatment will help achieve the best results. This is to ensure your body utilizes the triglycerides (a type of body fat) released by the fat cavitation process.

Disclose relevant information

Disclose any medical information to your therapist that might influence the treatment.  When in doubt consult your Doctor.

Avoid if any of the following applies

Cavitation treatments are not recommended for people with active heart disease or vascular disease, pacemakers, thrombosis, diabetics, patients requiring medical transplants, pregnancy and breast feeding, individuals with metal prostheses or any serious illness, or for those who are taking lipid lowering drugs or anticoagulant drugs. Your therapist will discuss contra-indications during your initial consultation to ensure that you are a suitable candidate for Cavitation treatments.

Is it possible to lose weight with ultrasonic cavitation?

Because you are reducing fat deposits you may experience some loss in weight but Ultrasound Cavitation Non-Surgical “Liposuction” itself is not a weight loss treatment. It is particularly indicated to reduce adipose fat and cellulite, which will reduce circumference. Diet suggestions will be recommended to follow throughout your treatment program and will enhance the elimination of fat deposits and the loss of weight.

Is ultrasonic cavitation painful?

No, most clients consider the procedure painless and comfortable. During the treatment you will feel a soothing heat in the targeted area. A little “blushing” or reddening may occasionally appear but it does not cause pain. The heat generated is perfectly tolerable. There may be a slight discomfort due to the specific low frequency ultrasound noise experienced, but it poses no harm and disappears as soon as you are not in contact with the transducer. The treatment can be compared to the feeling of finishing an intense workout.

Is it a safe treatment?

Yes. It’s a non-surgical procedure, without anaesthesia, non-invasive and allows you to carry on with your social life before and after the sessions.

Am I a good candidate for Ultrasound Cavitation ?

It is ideal for people who are dissatisfied with certain areas of fatty deposits but do not want to undergo any invasive surgical treatment like liposuction. A good candidate is someone looking for fat removal from a specific area. The treatment does not necessarily result in overall weight loss, but results in improved shape & contour and size reduction in the treatment area. If you are currently following a healthy diet or a good weight loss plan, results will be more significant and weight loss will more likely occur.

Great results can be obtained for those who have up to 10 – 15 kilogram or less to lose. Cavitation is ideal for those who have tried to shift the stubborn fatty bulges with diet or exercise and are aiming for a smoother and more balanced shape. Ultrasound Cavitation and RF body contouring is not a treatment for morbid obesity nor is it a weight loss cure. If a significant amount of surplus fat exists, we recommend successfully dieting before beginning the treatment program. A consultation will determine whether or not you are a good candidate for the procedures.

What if I have lost my weight and just need some lifting and tightening?

At your initial consultation, it will be determined what the best course of action is for your needs. You may benefit from contouring, tightening and lifting using Radio Frequency therapies and may not need Cavitation at all.

In which areas is the ultrasonic cavitation more effective??

All parts of the body where localized fat resides; therefore legs, abdomen and buttocks are the most appropriate sites but there’s no real limitation regarding body areas.

How long will it take to recover from Ultrasonic cavitation?

You are able to return to your normal activities immediately. It is performed as a walk in, walk out treatment and there is no lengthy recovery period as with surgical fat removal. Treatment is generally considered by most people to be painless, with no pain or discomfort post-treatment. A mild tingling and/or warm sensation have been reported during treatment. There are very few documented side effects to date, although bruising is considered to be rare and if it occurs will be very mild, some redness and mild swelling may be noticed for a very short time post-treatment.

How much time should pass between two sessions?

It is best to schedule your appointments 3 days apart. It is essential to allow your body enough time to metabolize and excrete fats and waste materials after each session. Maintenance treatments are recommended with the first four taking place one month apart and then once every four months after that to maintain your results. Your therapist will design an optimal treatment schedule for you.

When will I see results?

Most clients experience a reduction in circumference after the first session, with increasing results after each visit but especially after the third treatment and onward. The results may vary from person to person with different tissue structure, treatment area, age, metabolism, medications, and changes in hormones. Proper diet, adequate water intake and increased physical activity will certainly improve and help to maintain your results.

This procedure will also leave you with firmer, smoother looking skin than before, due to the inclusion of Radio Frequency Therapy, which encourages the fibroblasts within the skin to produce collagen.

Can I drink alcohol?

To achieve the best results, it is recommended to refrain from any alcohol consumption for 2 – 3 days following your treatments. Alcohol can prevent your liver from working to remove fats as it will make alcohol metabolism its priority before fat removal and could hinder your results. Alcohol is treated like sugar and your body will convert it into FAT!

Is there any after treatment care?

It is strongly recommended to avoid carbohydrates (including alcohol) for 24 hours post treatment, giving the body time to eliminate toxins and waste from the body. It is important to drink plenty of water to aid this process as well. Exercise is highly recommended to stimulate the circulatory and lymphatic systems to remove toxins released during a treatment. To optimize the treatment and speed up results it is recommended to have follow-up lymph drainage with your therapist 3-4 days later. This treatment is a short one, being approximately 20-30 minutes.

Bipolar RF Vacuum Cavitation

Vacuum Cavitation

Vacuum action draws up the partially destroyed fat cells and further destroys the structure.  This dramatically improves the metabolism of the destroyed cells.  The backwards and forwards movement further redistributes the cells and evens out the areas affected by the treatment.  This is very effective in treating cellulite.

Bipolar RF – heat through vibration

Adding the Bipolar functionality further destroys some of the partially destroyed cells as the bipolar RF penetrates and vibrates the cells to produce heat.  The poles are further apart and penetrates deeper to target the fatty cells.

Multipolar RF with Red Photon Therapy

Multipolar RF – Body Treatment

This probe is used to promote fat metabolism and dissolve fat and also promote collagen for tighten skin. Collagen and elastin are produced by fibroblasts. As they are heated by the RF, they contract and are pulled together, resulting in immediate skin tightening. In addition, the thermal effect triggers the fibroblasts to increase the production of new collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid which in turn augment the newly achieved younger skin appearance.

Red Photon Therapy

The red Photon energy increases collagen production, reduces wrinkles, improves skin elasticity and repairs damaged skin and reduces post treatment healing time.  It penetrates all the way to the Dermis.

Targeted RF with Red Photon Therapy

Multipolar RF – Target Area Treatments

This medium RF(4-polar) Probe is used to reduce fat on areas like the arms, cheeks, forehead and neck. It promotes fat metabolism and dissolve fat and also promote collagen for tighten skin.

Facial RF with Red Photon Therapy

Facial RF – Target Area Treatments

This medium Tripole Facial Probe is used to promote facial collagen to tighten skin, lift up face contour, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, reduce pores.

NEW Laser Lipo Treatment

What is Laser Lipo

Laser lipo is a unique treatment that is much safer than normal lipo and can, in some cases, wipe out the need for surgical lipo altogether.  Laser lipo is a completely non-surgical procedure that only takes about half an hour. In order to see results, you will need to undergo the treatment for a few consecutive weeks.

How does Laser Lipo Work

During each session of Laser Lipo a technician places pads equipped with laser diodes directly onto the skin, allowing the laser energy to penetrate the fat cells and temporarily perforate their membranes. This causes the fat cells to release their stored fatty acids, glycerol, and water into the body and then shrink, potentially resulting in lost inches. The body then flushes out the expelled fat-cell contents via the lymphatic system or burns them for energy.

Who is a Laser Lipo Candidate

The pool of ideal candidates for laser lipo is a little bit smaller than for traditional lipo because the procedure isn’t perfect for extensive weight loss.

It might be right for you if you’re:

  • Only about 15 kilograms over your ideal weight
  • More concerned with “problem areas” than total-body weight loss
  • In good health with good skin elasticity

Areas in which Laser Lipo can offer successful fat reduction are:

  • Face (including chin and cheek areas)
  • Neck (such as with double chins)
  • Back side of arms
  • Abdomen
  • Back
  • Both the inner and outer areas of thighs
  • Hips
  • Buttocks
  • Knees
  • Ankles

How long does it last

Because Laser Lipo does not destroy fat cells but rather empties them of their contents, the fat cells are capable of storing fat again. A balanced diet is the only way to ensure lasting results.

Treatment schedule

Though some clients begin to notice results after only a few sessions, most require 6–8 treatments to see maximum results.

Treatment Frequency

Two treatments per week for four weeks are recommended.

Downtime

Because the treatment is not invasive, no downtime is required
